PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: Before dental school, Dr. Jess combined her artistic eye and technical skills as a Digital Smile Design Coordinator and photographer in a high-end cosmetic dental practice. She went on to earn her Master’s in Oral Biology at NYU, completing an intensive 18-month program in just 9 months and graduating with a published thesis that bridged her background in Bioengineering with Dental Materials and Implantology.

A proud graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Jess has been creating healthy, confident smiles across South Florida for over five years. With advanced training in clear aligner therapy, biomaterials, and implantology, she is known for her personalized, minimally invasive approach. Her mission is simple: to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care that supports both oral and overall health.

GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT:  Dr. Jess achieved Invisalign Gold Plus Provider status in just six months, a testament to her expertise and commitment to clear aligner therapy. She is also recognized as a “Done in One” provider by the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), a distinction awarded to clinicians who can achieve optimal results using a single set of aligners. Her streamlined approach makes treatment faster, more efficient, and more comfortable for her patients.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Dr. Jess met her husband, another Dr. Shapiro, at Lehigh University when they were partnered in a biology lab—and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Together they share a love for travel, trying new foods, and chasing meaningful adventures around the world. Whether it’s exploring hidden gems abroad or hosting dinner parties at home, they believe in making every moment intentional and joy-filled.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jess is a passionate baker and creative at heart. She’s known for designing over-the-top, custom cakes for birthdays and special occasions—each one a labor of love. Her artistic eye and attention to detail extend from her kitchen to her operatory, where she’s committed to crafting beautiful, functional smiles that reflect each patient’s unique personality. She’s also deeply committed to giving back and creating community. Whether it’s organizing local events, supporting meaningful causes, or just being a thoughtful friend and neighbor, Dr. Jess strives to lead with kindness, curiosity, and purpose—in and out of the office.

LOOKING FORWARD: Dr. Jess is always evolving—both as a clinician and a creator. She’s passionate about staying at the forefront of minimally invasive, patient-centered dentistry and continues to expand her expertise in clear aligner therapy, implantology, and aesthetic smile design. Her goal is to make dentistry more comfortable, customized, and confidence-boosting for every patient she treats.

Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Jess is excited to grow her impact through education, mentorship, and community building.
